The Johannesburg Junior Council’s (JJC) recent event hosted by Edenglen High School saw a lot of little faces smiling from ear to ear.
Children with disabilities coming from disadvantaged backgrounds were treated to a day full of fun and adventure. The JJC members wore well-known animated character garments, amongst the characters being mimicked was Snow White and Minnie Mouse.
The children were in absolute bliss, touching the sky on jumping castles, playing strategic games for prizes as well as enhancing their colouring in abilities.
The JJC, a youth organisation, is well known for helping different communities and making a difference. Their willingness to help the children to make them feel no different to other children was seen in the way they assisted the kids throughout the day.
With painted faces and full tummies, the children went home having had a wonderful experience.
